The writer for Resident Evil Requiem has accidentally leaked information about the game's upcoming story DLC. Fans who have been eagerly awaiting Resident Evil Requiem's DLC will get to learn more about one of the series' mastermind villains.
Spoilers for Resident Evil Requiem follow.
Even Resident Evil's iconic quip-spouting, roundhouse-kicking legend, Leon S. Kennedy, can't handle every mutated threat on his own.
Resident Evil Requiem writer Haris Orkin has inadvertently revealed that founder of Umbrella Corp., Oswell E. Spencer, will be a focus character in the game's upcoming story DLC. Orkin sat down for a chat with Distance NERDing Podcast at Meadowlark Comic Con, with the two discussing a number of games Orkin has worked on in his storied career. During the chat, Orkin talked about his enjoyment of writing villains, as he feels that villains see themselves as the "hero of their own story," even if they're clearly evil to everyone else. Along those lines, Orkin noted that in Resident Evil Requiem, "we have an arc for Spencer... you understand that more. And in the DLC, you'll understand even further," before admitting he shouldn't have said as much as he did.
