Final Fantasy 9 is making a return this fall, with a new set of collectibles you'll certainly want to look out for. First released in 2000, FF9 was the last Final Fantasy game of the PS1 era. It represented a return to form for the franchise, with a traditional medieval fantasy setting and abundant callbacks to the series' earliest days.
FF9 has since become one of the most beloved entries in the Final Fantasy series, with many fans clamoring for a proper remake following the conclusion of the FF7 trilogy. While the future of that project remains uncertain, developer Square Enix is putting out some decent FF9 merch later this year.
Three Final Fantasy 9 music boxes — one each for "A Place to Call Home," "Roses of May," and "(You Are) Not Alone" — are getting a UK release this October. Each of the music boxes goes for £24.99, and pre-orders, now open via the Square Enix online store, are expected to ship out by the end of the month.
