A brand-new Resident Evil 30th anniversary celebration event is arriving on October 13. Fans of the survival horror franchise will have about two months to check it out before the Resident Evil event is gone forever.
Plenty of game franchises have been celebrating major anniversaries as of late, with Resident Evil being one of the most popular among them. The series has been extremely successful since its inception, but has also experienced something of a second renaissance beginning with the release of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. In honor of the series' ongoing popularity, a new event has been unveiled.
Even Resident Evil's iconic quip-spouting, roundhouse-kicking legend, Leon S. Kennedy, can't handle every mutated threat on his own.
Capcom has teamed up with Japanese chain Pasela Resorts to launch a new series-inspired menu that looks horrifying, but sounds delectable. Beginning on October 13, Pasela Resorts locations in Japan will be offering up a Resident Evil feast, consisting of three entrees, two desserts, and cocktails based upon the series' heroes. The event is expected to run until December 7, so fans who plan on visiting Japan should make sure not to miss their chance to check it out....
