Few fantasy franchises have built a world quite like Masters of the Universe, and now Mattel and its partners have announced a new way for fans to interact with it. Since its debut in the 1980s, the series has followed He-Man and his allies as they defend Eternia from Skeletor and other threats, with Castle Grayskull serving as one of its most recognizable locations. The Masters of the Universe franchise has continued to expand across toys, animated shows, comics, and films, keeping its mix of fantasy adventure, larger-than-life heroes, and iconic villains alive for new generations.

The world of Eternia also lends itself to video games, where players can take a more active role in its ongoing battle between good and evil. He-Man's supernatural strength, Skeletor's schemes, and the series' memorable weapons and locations offer plenty of material for an action-focused adventure. With the franchise continuing to reach new audiences through modern releases, its latest gaming project is taking a different approach to letting fans experience Eternia.
