Dungeons & Dragons: Star Wars Reveals First Look At Two New Books Arriving In 2027

Dungeons & Dragons revealed Star Wars would be a part of its Season of Rebellion next year. Now, thanks to the Disney / Lucasfilm publishing panel at New York Comic Con, we have confirmation that not just one book — but two — will be arriving in 2027. That's a bit different than the tabletop RPG's current method for its World of Warcraft release, which releases as a single book this November.

The two new books, D&D: Star Wars Core Rules and D&D: Star Wars, Tyro Squadron: Adventures, will both launch toward the end of next year. Today, D&D shared new artwork from the upcoming expansion, as well as more details on what to expect when both books arrive. The cover art for Tyro Squadron: Adventures was also shared and can be viewed below.

As if the Season of Rebellion weren't enough of a hint, it's also been confirmed D&D's books will take place during the timeline of the Original Trilogy. Furthermore, Tyro Squadron: Adventures will focus on fighting against the Empire as part of a secret Rebel crew. The new stories take place as Luke and Leia fight their own battles across the galaxy.
