Pokémon Black & White Officially Return In 2027 Release

Released back in 2010 for the Nintendo DS, Pokémon Black and White welcomed the beginning of Gen 5 with 156 brand-new additions to the Pokédex, as well as new features such as seasonal cycles, rotation battles, triple battles, hidden abilities, and fully animated Pokémon sprites.

Set in the Unova Region, the story follows a young Pokémon Trainer who must put a stop to the evil schemes of the criminal organization, Team Plasma.

Receiving positive reviews upon its launch, Pokémon Black and White soon became some of the best-selling games for the Nintendo DS, so it was unsurprising that a sequel, Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2, followed in 2012.

However, it seems as though our time with Black and White is far from over, as fans can expect to return to the action in 2027 with a brand-new release.
