An upcoming Bethesda game planned for release on the Nintendo Switch 2 has allegedly been canceled, according to a credible insider. Bethesda has already released a handful of titles for Nintendo's latest console, including Switch 2 ports of popular games like The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. However, it's beginning to sound less and less likely that a Starfield port ever comes to Switch 2.
The dramatically more powerful Switch 2 has received several third-party ports that would have been nearly impossible on its predecessor. Games like Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil Requiem, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake all showcase just how well the Nintendo console can compete with its PlayStation and Xbox rivals. Even with more impressive hardware, it's still a tall order to get some more graphically intensive games to run on the Switch 2, which may be the case with a Starfield port.
