Silent Hill Producer Issues Official Statement on the Series' Future

After releasing three Silent Hill games since 2024, series producer Motoi Okamoto said that Konami is already contemplating more entries in the long-running horror franchise. The news came a few weeks after the latest entry in the Silent Hill series, Silent Hill: Townfall, was released on PC and PS5 across the globe.

Although the series has been on a roll that started with the 2024 remake of Silent Hill 2, Konami initially left fans without a new release for 12 years. The 2012 title Silent Hill: Downpour was one of the last games released before Konami's horror franchise went dormant. In October 2022, a Silent Hill Transmission broadcast officially revealed Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill f, and Silent Hill: Townfall, with different studios at the helm of each project. As of this writing, each game announced during the 2022 Transmission episode has hit store shelves.
