Bandai Namco has revealed a new look at Roger Jr. in Tekken 8. The kangaroo boxing fiend is back and ready to take on Steve Fox. It’ll probably be unfair and nowhere close to square.

Roger Jr. hasn’t been seen in a Tekken game since Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Strangely, he’s still being carried to victory, literally. Why do I think this is cheating? Take Your Mother to a Tournament Day seems to still be in effect for Roger Jr.

Roger Jr. has always been a heavily offensive character. Whether his two stances return remains to be seen, but the trailer shows that some of his familiar kit is still here. And, of course, his Rage Art is crazy all on its own, with a bit of Looney Tunes and Street Fighter EX-level zaniness.

Roger Jr. is the penultimate character in the Season 3 pass, which also includes Kunimitsu and Bob. He’ll arrive in early access on November 11, followed by his official release on November 16. Tekken 8 is available on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC via Steam. For our thoughts on the game’s combat, modes, and roster, check out our Tekken 8 review.
