Amazon has opened up preorders for the Nintendo Switch Online service that is set to launch in September. You can choose from a three month subscription or an annual pass. The former is $8 and the latter will cost $20. The Switch Online service will be necessary to play Nintendo games like Mario Tennis Aces and Splatoon 2 multiplayer, according to Polygon. Currently, multiplayer is free.
There is no specific date for the subscription release other than September.
