Electronic Arts has announced an important The Sims 4 update that aims to address a variety of issues currently plaguing the game. The patch, which is planned to roll out by mid-August 2024, will primarily target problems that were introduced as part of the Lovestruck expansion for The Sims 4.
The Sims 4: Lovestruck Expansion Pack was released on July 25. The add-on debuted to a mixed reaction from the fandom, not least because it ended up causing quite a bit of issues, ranging from smaller graphical glitches to more pervasive problems, like the weird bug that prevents players from initiating any kind of interactions in live mode.
The Sims 4 waited a long time to add horses, but there are still a few things missing from the game.
EA officially acknowledged some of these problems on August 6, when it announced the game's first patch dedicated to addressing The Sims 4 bugs introduced in the Lovestruck expansion. Among other things, the update will seek to eliminate error code incidents and a graphical glitch that causes glasses' frames to distort.
