WARDOGS Season 2 has been live for just two days now, and developer BULKHEAD is already considering bringing the next season forward. The studio has acknowledged that the faster progression introduced with the October 15 update allowed some players to reach high-end gear almost immediately, undermining the fresh start that the game's first seasonal wipe was supposed to provide.
In an October 17 statement, BULKHEAD admitted that it "sped up progression deliberately and tried to balance the game better, as set out in the patch notes, but it was the wrong call."

BULKHEAD will address the more obvious balance problems, though it has ruled out wiping everyone's progress again this weekend.
BULKHEAD may also move some of Season 3's planned content forward, although it hasn't announced a new release date.
