Warner Bros Reveals Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Massively Hurt Company's Earnings

After underwhelming, mixed reviews, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League experienced another punch to the gut recently, as this game is reportedly the reason behind Warner Bros' disappointing quarterly reported figures.

As the Warner Bros Q2 2024 earnings release states:

This is just one of numerous issues the game has been facing since its inception. Just recently, Suicide Squad was blasted for its portrayal of the Joker.

Warner Bros. Movies Thrive While Games and TV Struggle

The company suffered a total drop in revenue by 4% across gaming, cinema, and TV activities.

While gaming losses were the most glaring, TV activities also didn't do well. With a decline of 27%, mainly caused by lower licensing sales and production issues, this will likely be another problem zone to improve in the next few quarters for Warner Bros.

However, cinema activities fared much better, having a 19% increase in revenues compared to the same quarter last year. With masterpieces, such as Dune: Part Two and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, this was to be expected.
