No Man’s Sky Player Builds Working Mario Kart-Style Race Track

No Man's Sky does a lot of things right. Player freedom and exploration are right at the top of that list, but allowing for creativity isn't far behind it. The release of the Worlds Part 1 update has exemplified this, with major changes to bases and the creation of a city that wouldn't look out of place in Cyberpunk 2077.

One small change can make a big difference.

The latest player creation may just top that, though. As shared on Reddit, somebody has created a full-sized Mario Kart-style racetrack that actually works.

Created by Pleasant-Disaster87, Princess Beach's Castle, a play on Mario's Peach's Castle, is a track that wouldn't look out of place in Mario Kart.

Set on a beach, hence the name, the player created a full replica of Peach's Castle with a racetrack that runs around it. The version of Peach's castle on its own is great, but the racecourse looks like a genuinely fun time.

Coming close to the 3000-part limit and complete with jumps, speed boosts, perilous corners, and a runway through the castle, the track is available for players to visit at the following location.
