Take-Two has confirmed once again that Grand Theft Auto 6 is still aiming to release at some point in Fall 2025, which confirms that the SAG-AFTRA strikes haven't affected it.
Although 2024 is already shaping up to be yet another killer year for video games (even if it's continuing to be a bad time for anyone involved in making them), it's got nothing on what's coming in 2025. While I could get on my copium and pretend I'm talking about Kingdom Hearts 4, I am of course referring to GTA 6.

After waiting so long for Rockstar's next game, many of us hoped that GTA 6 would be releasing at some point this year, but it was confirmed during its reveal trailer that it's actually aiming for 2025 instead. Following multiple rumours of it being delayed or impacted by Rockstar employees being forced to work from the office, Take-Two confirmed a few months ago that it's officially releasing in Fall 2025.
