Halloween is here in just two days. Unless you’re reading this in the future, in which case Halloween has come and gone but will return. However, regardless of where you are in time, you can celebrate the holiday with new DLC for Halloween: The Game.
The new content includes both free and paid DLC. The Tower Farm map is free, while the two new characters and two new Michael Myers skins are paid. It makes sense, since the skins are just cosmetic while the map dictates who can play.
“1978 was only the beginning,” said Jared Gerritzen, Chief Creative Officer of IllFonic, via press release. “With the Tower Farm map, we take the terror of that first event in Haddonfield into somewhere wide open, where there’s nowhere to hide except in the dark – where Michael Myers truly comes to life.”
The map draws inspiration from Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, which proved divisive among fans. But the map itself looks to be a great time. I haven’t played it yet, but it has the most autumnal feel out of any of the Halloween maps thus far. Screenshots show off a cornfield, barns, and of course, a harvest festival....
