Atlus has taken great strides to modernize the public perception of the Persona series ever since the breakout hit of Persona 5 back in 2016. With a mix of spin-offs, new releases, and newly realized remakes, Atlus has been taking great care of the most recent three entries, with fans begging for the same kind of attention for Persona 1 and 2.
It seems like those wishes might be answered, as an anonymous leak has slipped through the cracks, seemingly showing full-on Reload-tier presentation for Persona 1. The footage on display looks amazing, but is also clearly unfinished, if it's even real. The improvements of generative AI and fan projects mean this leak could easily be one massive trick, or a hell of a treat.

Persona 1 was a very different title when put alongside its modern contemporaries, a smaller-scale story of a class trapped inside a school shifting under the effects of a psychic classmate. The original feels much more like a Japanese horror film, allowing the Persona to hold a kind of mystic that isn't quite as strong in the rest of the franchise.
