The Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster promises to bring everything the 2006 original had but better, alongside the tasteful removal of a controversial and inappropriate feature, as the remaster removes the 'erotica' category from photo mode.

After fans were disappointed by details regarding the canceled Dead Rising 5 leaking online, this remaster aims to be a salve to the wound the unfortunate cancelation caused, but this change has been met with a mixed reception.

The original Dead Rising sees players explore a zombie-infested mall as photojournalist Frank West, a Photojournalist by trade who can't seem to take a day off, even with a zombie apocalypse on the cards.

Erotica Feature Removed As Quality-Of-Life Change

According to a Famitsu article, Capcom removed the "Erotica" category when snapping pics in-game. The change wasn't widely broadcast by Capcom but was taken more as a quality-of-life adjustment among many gameplay improvements they promised for the remaster.
