Santa Monica Studio continues to port the critically acclaimed and hugely popular God of War series to PC. The developer released the PC system requirements for the latest God Of War: Ragnarök PC port, which includes an advisory for 190GB of storage.
God Of War: Ragnarök was originally released for the PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles in November 2022. PC players have been hoping for a PC port from console of the God of War series for a while. However the system requirements have shocked many.
God of War: Ragnarök Demands A Lot Of Storage Space
The original release of the God Of War: Ragnarök on PS4 required 84GB, while the PS5 required 106.9GB of storage.
The PC port, which will come on Steam and the Epic Games Store, of God Of War: Ragnarök is expected on September 19 and requires a staggering 190GB of storage space. Further, the recommendation requires an SSD as well, rather than an HDD, to get the best performance.
The rest of the PC requirements, outside the storage, look reasonable. Especially after Steam's July 2024 Hardware Surveyshows the majority of PC players would meet or exceed the recommended settings....
