The recent Nintendo Switch 2 rumors floating on Famiboards suggest that the long-awaited Switch successor will allow streaming games to TV without keeping the console on the dock.

The rumors also mention a cooler unit integrated with the dock to keep the streaming process smooth.

The source for the rumors comes from a user stating that they had seen the shipping manifests, which also included a charger unit with 60W power.

Although there is a lot to expect from the Switch 2 and too little information to work with, a bigger power supply for the successor does make sense.

The dock with a cooler unit signal, however, might mean that a more powerful cooling system is needed during the charging phase. It also suggests positive things about the console's streaming capabilities.

Provided that they are true, the Switch 2 will arrive with a dock with a built-in cooler. The wireless streaming gimmick feels like Nintendo has had a stroll down memory lane, as Wii U had a similar wireless gameplay feature, thanks to its modified Wi-Fi protocol to allow low-latency transmission.
