A recent job posting for a "Sr Hero Combat Designer" familiar with God of War and God of War: Ragnarök's combat systems hints at a new entry in the series being in development.
The listing specifically asked for those "who are fluent with the combat design choices, systems, mechanics, and enemies in God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarök (2022) are preferred," hinting that the rumored new IP might also be in development.
Since Kratos returned to our consoles in 2018 as a father, fans have yet to have enough, with the sequel even breaking a PlayStation sales record the week it dropped. This demand isn't lost on the developers, whose hiring calls have been ground for rumors since November last year.
It has long been hinted that we're nearing the end of Kratos' story, but as of now, we don't know if the next entry in the series will be his epilogue or Atreus' prologue.
