Black Myth: Wukong developer Game Science is reportedly trying to ban content creators from discussing certain topics in exchange for game codes.
In a leaked document, which at least one content creator has publicly stated they received from Game Science, there is a "do's and dont's" section, telling those who receive a code what they cannot discuss in their content. Here, the document informs those with Black Myth: Wukong codes that they cannot include "politics" and "feminist propaganda" in their coverage of the game, among other topics.
Journalist Don Parsons reported on this document earlier today, saying that he had talked with content creators who received this agreement. Parsons specifically names the French YouTube channel, ExServ, which also shared the agreement in a YouTube video.
Following this, a Google Doc containing this apparent agreement was shared on Reddit. Here, it's claimed that the document was received by journalists, but this was not included in the review code agreement that we received. If this document is legitimate, it seems that it was instead sent out to content creators and was not attached to review codes.
With that said, Parsons reports that this document was not part of a sponsored content agreement...
