Fallout 76 will have Microtransactions, but PERK Packs are not involved

As revealed at this weekend's QuakeCon, Fallout 76 will indeed have microtransactions, and it will also have PERK Cards - which give players new perks to slot into their characters. But you can all exhale, because PERK card packs will only be earned in-game via leveling up, and not with real money.

Bethesda's Pete @DCDeacon Hines took to twitter to clear it up this weekend:

In #Fallout76, Perks are represented through Perk Cards. You earn them every time you Level Up.
