Deadlock Peaks At Over 40,000 Players This Weekend, Still Not Announced

Deadlock, Valve's shooter that it hasn't officially announced yet, just reached a new player peak on Steam. This weekend, 41,569 users were playing at once at its peak, surpassing plenty of other games on the platform.

Right now, Deadlock is ranked at 53 on the Steam charts, with 31,294 players online at the time of writing. This is enough to just put it above Helldivers 2's player count, as well as other huge games like Left 4 Dead 2, No Man's Sky, and Rocket League.

While the numbers are a little lower this Sunday, it was spotted that Deadlock's player count was enough to bump it higher than Overwatch 2's yesterday. And while both Overwatch and Helldivers 2 are available on other platforms, it's still impressive to see a game that Valve hasn't publicly acknowledged surpasses them both on Steam.

Of course, being an unannounced game, you can't just open Steam and download Deadlock from a store page. Right now, the elusive shooter is only available to play if you've received an invite.
