Following a recent tweet by Geoff Keighley, the host for the upcoming Gamescom opening night, Techland is possibly gearing up to officially announce the next installment in the Dying Light video game series.
It also came under fans' radar recently that the studio has registered a trademark for the title 'Dying Light: The Beast', which perfectly matches the tease posted by Keighley on his official X/Twitter handle.
The video ends with a tagline mentioning 'The Beast Is Coming'. While there is no official confirmation from the studio yet, it will all be cleared during Gamescom live stream tomorrow at 11 a.m. PT, / 2 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. EST.
Viewers have also noticed how the visual and audio effects of the teaser are similar to the ones in the game, making it too big a correlation for the tease to not be hinting towards a new release in the series.
Additionally, recent datamining leaks have revealed how Dying Light 2 has a lot of content hidden in the game files waiting to be utilized in a future DLC.
A further look into these files reveals how the character of Kyle Crain might still be alive, and is quite possibly coming back...
