Marvel Rivals just got a new trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live, giving us an update on development. Now, we have a date for the launch, December 6, 2024.
Unlike the last time Marvel Rivals was playable, this will actually be a full launch, so it won't be going away afterwards. This release date reveal also confirms our starting roster, adding a couple of more faces to the lineup.
As per the trailer, Captain America and the Winter Soldier will be in Marvel Rivals from launch. The former had already leaked, giving us a look at his character model way ahead of the reveal, but this is our first time seeing him in action.
This is our first look at Marvel Rivals since the conclusion of its closed beta earlier this month. This made the hero shooter available to play from July 23 to August 5 across a limited number of maps and with a selection of the launch roster.
