Firaxis Games just shared our first look at Sid Meier's Civilization 7 during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024, giving us our first glimpse at gameplay while also revealing that it launches February 11 next year.
Personally, I don't think I'd even notice they were gone. Maybe they could be kept in as an optional setting for multiplayer, but in singleplayer my experience is that the AI never uses them, and they're too much of an investment to justify the player doing so.
