Gamescom's Horror Double Bill Showcases Reanimal & Little Nightmares 3

Since Little Nightmares 2’s great fan reception, many have been thirsty for more of this cozy horror adventure franchise. While we were already expecting a new Little Nightmares 3 trailer at Gamescom 2024, we were surprised by the reveal of a new game named Reanimal, a spiritual followup by the original Little Nightmares creator, Tarsier Studios.

Supermassive Games, which helped Tarsier with Little Nightmares 2, has been working on Little Nightmares 3 so the original creators could work on a brand-new project. But the new title, Reanimal, shocked us in its reveal. It's a co-op, puzzle platforming adventure that looks almost identical to the original two Little Nightmares games.

Let us emphasize that this isn't a bad thing. Fans of these cute horror titles will be happy to know that Little Nightmares 3 and Reanimal both have a co-op campaign filled with the spine-chilling horror that made previous games so much fun.
