Goat Simulator Remastered was revealed at Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live via the most insane trailer.
The first title to kick off the beloved franchise will return for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S later this year.
The upcoming remaster will include all the DLCs that the developer Coffee Stain has delivered until now.
These include all of Pilgor's adventures along with the celebrated Goat MMO and GoatZ. The former combined a refined MMO experience with Goat shenanigans, whereas the latter offered a post-apocalyptic setting helmed by goats.
Alongside them, the remaster will also arrive with content that was exclusive to the game's mobile version, which includes the GoatVille High map.
As expected from a remaster, the enhanced version of the 2014 original is also coming with enhanced visuals, new lighting, and the ability to change the goat you play without having to restart the game. The latter was a frequent cause of contempt among the players in the original title.
Fortunately, the remastered version will allow switching between goats on the spot while relaxing by wreaking havoc and causing Goat-based collateral damage.
