Dying Light: The Beast brings an update to one of the best survival horror video game series. However, what makes this return better is how you can get the new game for absolutely free as long as you made a smart purchasing decision nearly 2 years ago.
Techland, the studio responsible for developing the series, has announced that owners of Dying Light 2 Stay Human Ultimate Edition will be receiving a copy of the upcoming game at no extra cost.
It was also revealed how Dying Light: The Beast initially started as a DLC before it was eventually made into a standalone title instead.
The game was officially announced for the first time during the Gamescom Opening Night showcase, with Geoff Keighley posting a teaser about it a day before the live stream.
Unfortunately, the official release date for Dying Light: The Beast has not been announced yet. For now, it is available to be wishlisted on Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, and PlayStation, respectively.
The title gives an insight into what the player can expect from the storyline, bringing back someone last seen eight years ago.
