GamingIntel.com has an interesting rumor that it claims comes from "a source close to" the development of Call of Duty Black Ops 4. The anonymous tipster has indicated that, not only will CoDBO4 sport a battle royale game mode, but that it will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. This is huge news for Switch fans, most especially in terms of the "on the go" ability that the portable gaming console provides.This could open the door to mobile CoD similar to how Epic's Fortnite has taken the mobile game world (and all others...) by storm.
As with all battle royale, players will likely be dropped onto an ever-shrinking map and compete with one another for gear and supplies as well as try to survive to be the ultimate winner.
We'll be keeping eyes on this story for sure and will update when we know more.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will be launching for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 12th.
