Multiple videos of the canceled Crysis Next game have been leaked online, and many Crysis fans are glad it'll never see the light of day.
Crysis Next was a rumored spin-off game set in the Crysis universe, nano suits and all. Departing from the series' FPS roots, it was rumored to be a free-to-play third-person Battle Royale game.
The leaked footage appears to be of the Alpha stage as Crysis' signature computer-melting graphics are replaced with untextured models. As such, production seems to have halted soon after it began.
Leaked gameplay shows a player choosing one out of three classes, "Frontliner," "Tactician," and "Flanker," each of whom with customizable abilities and appearances. After selecting, the player ran around an unfinished map, picked up weapons, switched out, and tried different classes, as each had different abilities and animations.
Another clip showed a few player models with the next iteration of the famous nano suit, the 3.0.
Interestingly, this isn't the first time Crysis Next footage has surfaced. Earlier footage was put online almost 4 years ago on Discord and gaming forums but wasn't widely reported.
These new leaks were posted as unlisted YouTube videos, only accessible...
