Stardew Valley launched the hotly anticipated 1.6 update back in March for PC, adding a new farm, mystery boxes, extra festivals, the mastery system, new crops, and so much more. But 1.6 still isn't available on console and mobile.
Solo dev ConcernedApe confirmed last month that it's "still in progress" and that he has been "working on the mobile port every day". Last night, he revealed that he has even stopped development on his next game Haunted Chocolatier to focus on getting update 1.6 live across other platforms.
"Console and mobile ports are still in progress," he tweeted. "I acknowledge that they are taking a long time. There are reasons for this, but the bottom line is that they are not out yet, we are still working on them, and they have been our primary focus since 1.6 came out for PC. It would be a huge relief to me if they were ready today, but they aren't, so all we can do is continue working on them until they are ready.
