Concerned Ape Gives Update On Stardew Valley 1.6 Port on Consoles and Mobile

Stardew Valley players who play on consoles and mobile devices have been missing out on the game's latest 1.6 update experience for months.

Addressing the same, ConcernedApe, the game's creator, has revealed how far along the process of porting the update to these devices has come.

Sharing it on their official X handle, the American game developer revealed how porting the Stardew Valley 1.6 update to other platforms apart from PC has been their main concern for a while now and will be rolled out as soon as possible.

Additionally, the developer revisited how they have put aside the Haunted Chocolatier project to fully dedicate themselves to porting Stardew Valley's latest version.

The 1.6 update, which came out for PC in March, brings to the game a lot of free content and significant improvements that have been due for some while.

The update also brings extended multiplayer support, allowing up to 8 players in a single session.

The new multiplayer features are ultimately the deal-breaker of the 1.6 update and are the reason why console and mobile players have been calling for a port on their devices at the earliest.
