The news about the games being pulled from app stores came from X/Twitter user KHDatabase.
As noted by The Gamer, while the official website for the game bundle remains accessible, the links to the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore now lead to 404 errors or "app not found" messages.

Surprisingly, Square Enix made this decision without notifying players in advance. This is particularly puzzling because Unchained X introduces Strelitzia, a character set to appear in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 4.
It is unknown if the games are pulled down permanently and if they are gone for good.
