Remedy Entertainment is one of the best developers out there at the moment, with titles like Control, Alan Wake, and Max Payne all very much beloved in the gaming world. With the release of Alan Wake 2, all eyes are on the studio's next game, and Remedy has now announced that it has entered into a "strategic cooperation agreement" with publisher Annapurna Interactive to co-finance Control 2.
With Night Springs, Alan Wake 2 has story DLC within a year of release, and that's increasingly rare.
If you're unaware, Remedy is one of the few big developers out there that has remained independent despite its pedigree, having worked with the likes of Xbox and Epic to have their games published. In an announcement on Remedy's official website, the studio has claimed its new partnership with Annapurna has been made so that it can make Control 2 "exactly the game we want it to be."
