It's been more than eight years since No Man's Sky was released, and despite its very shaky start, the game continues to be a blessing. The latest update brought players back in their droves, adding a bunch of new features and ensuring that keen explorers are still discovering things that have never been seen before.

Some fans even suggested eating the poor thing.

The latest discovery, as shared on Reddit, is of a very peculiar planet that only has color during specific weather.

The discovery, made by Reddit User Choosingpoorlyftw, was described as "the coolest planet" they've discovered so far after spending 70 hours in the game.

The worm-infested celestial body, complete with a species of flying worms, is almost completely black and white, aside from some red outlines of clouds and water. However, when said planet faces a superheated storm, it undergoes a major transformation, with its usual black-and-white theme receiving a full-color makeover. This includes the environment, its wildlife, and the player's character.

The discovery was met with intrigue from players on the official No Man's Sky Subreddit, with many asking for the coordinates of the planet (which can be found here).
