Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics and Capcom Fighting Collection 2 are both heading their way to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S in 2025. The Marvel vs. Capcom selection of games will come later on Xbox than PlayStation systems, Nintendo Switch, and PC, however.

"We're excited to announce that after technical discussions with our partners at Microsoft, we can confirm that MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will release on Xbox One!" said the official X page of the series. No definitive date has been given for the port, however, with a vague 2025 launch timeframe. However, Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will be playable on PS4 (PS5 via backward compatibility), Nintendo Switch, and PC very shortly on September 12. That's a long time to wait for Xbox gamers. Microsoft could possibly include the collection on Xbox Game Pass as it will be a later release than its competition.
