Dying Light 2 Developer Working On A Mysterious New IP

According to job listings, Dying Light developer Techland is working on a third IP in addition to Dying Light: The Beast and an open-world fantasy RPG the studio announced last year (thanks, PCGN).

Techland is currently hiring for several animation roles. Although the listings for Lead Animator and Senior Animator don't reference anything besides Dying Light and the fantasy project, the listing for Animator references a third IP.

"This position is for a new IP, in addition to Dying Light and the fantasy game," the listing reads. There isn't much other non-generic information to go on in the listing, besides that the game is being created in Unreal Engine 5, which isn't too surprising.

There is certainly a lot on Techland's plate, with the studio's fantasy game being the studio's biggest project to date. We've only seen one concept art image so far, but Techland certainly seems excited about the title.

"A new fantasy epic set in a sprawling open world, fueled by the skills and experience we have gained as a team over the years, infused with new ideas, passion and creativity," the announcement post reads.

Development on Dying Light: The Beast is also in full swing....
