Paradox has announced that four Europa Universalis IV DLC packs are to be given away for free to all players starting in October.
In a Steam post, the studio says that four "essential" DLCs for the game will be bundled into the base game starting from October 17th. All current and future players will receive these DLCs for free, and you "won't even need to do anything to receive them".
Three of the DLCs in question were originally part of the game's Starter Edition, and the fourth has been added to "enrich the core experience of Europa Universalis IV even more".
The four DLCs you'll be able to get for free are as follows.
These DLCs add features like new religious gameplay elements, new leader personality traits, and new models and pictures for certain units and faiths, plus lots more.
If you already happen to own these DLCs, Paradox says it'll be introducing a brand new Starter Edition of Europa Universalis IV when this initiative begins, and also that the price of the Ultimate Bundle will be lowered.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like you'll get any kind of freebie or extra goodies if you do already own these DLCs,...
