Dragon Age has gone through a lot of changes over the years, sometimes so drastic that almost every game feels entirely unique to the last. Dragon Age: The Veilguard looks like yet another refresh, with new designs, two companion parties, and complex party members, but there is one change that the Dragon age games have made in recent years that fans wish would return in some capacity - the currency system.

If you've played Dragon Age Origins, you should remember that it had a fairly interesting currency system that was separated into three different coins. You could pick up gold, silver, and copper coins during your travels, and getting 100 silvers or coppers would give you one coin of the next highest grade. It wasn't the most complex system, but it made your gold feel like it was worth a lot more.
In both Dragon Age Inquisition and The Veilguard, developer BioWare has opted to just go for a flat number and do away with the three coin system, but this is a change that doesn't appear to have gone down particularly well...
