Fans of Larian's critically-acclaimed Baldur's Gate 3 have said that the game's biggest mistake is making it so Minsc can't be recruited until Act 3. Baldur's Gate 3 is widely considered to be one of the best video games ever made, but that doesn't mean it's without its critics. Even those that love the game have pointed out some flaws.
Minsc fans have complained that the fan favorite character can't be recruited until Act 3, which means he has a greatly limited role in Baldur's Gate 3 compared to other characters. Most of Baldur's Gate 3's other companions are found in Act 1, though a couple can't be recruited until Act 2. This was bad enough for fans of characters like Jaheira and Halsin, but restricting Minsc to Act 3 is even worse.
