Baldur's Gate 3's Patch 7 was released last week, adding the long-awaited modding toolkit to Larian Studios' beloved RPG. Though Larian has previously stated they can't officially support a level editor because of "cross-platform technical constraints" and because Baldur's Gate 3 is a licensed product, the developers didn't make it very difficult for the community to unlock the level editing features of the toolkit.

Siegfre, a user on Nexus Mods, has released an unlocked version of Baldur's Gate 3's modding toolkit. This functionality includes level and save editing, something that fans of the game desperately wanted. The possibilities are now endless, with the community able to create entire expansions and campaigns.
