Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 left advanced access yesterday, launching to the masses while squashing an attempted review bomb campaign under its muddy blue-and-gold boots. But that's not its only impressive feat.
As reported by PCGamesN, it already has the highest concurrent peak player count across all Warhammer games on Steam, reaching a staggering high of 225,690. That was on a Monday evening, so we'll no doubt see it surpass that already impressive milestone this weekend.
The previous record, held by Total War: Warhammer 3 since 2022, was a peak player count of 166,754. Space Marine 2 has shattered that record by 58,936 players.
