Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree's final boss, Consort Radahn, is a pain in the Dung Eater to beat. You spend a few minutes making your pre-battle preparations, step into the fog wall, and summon your Spirit Ash (let's be real — your Mimic). In the split-second that takes, he launches at you like a missile, leaving you with a scrap of health if you're lucky.
But nearly three months later, FromSoftware has finally made it easier to take on the DLC's final boss (thanks, VGC). The newly released Update 1.14 "Changed the action pattern when the battle starts", so stepping through the fog wall won't be like offering yourself up to Miquella's sacrificial alter anymore.

Radahn also deals less damage (and less stamina damage), with reduced range on "some non-weapon-based attacks". And if you were struggling to read his patterns, the visibility on some attack effects has also been increased. All around, Radahn should be easier, but it's still Radahn, so it won't be a walk in the Leyndell park.
Usually with big sweeping nerfs that make the game easier, a vocal subgroup of elitist fans...
