Dead by Daylight made some characters more affordable by offering a huge price change. At the moment, there are currently 44 Survivors and 37 Killers available in Dead by Daylight. While the base game already offers a diverse roster to use, the choices and perks selection has become so large that having access to more characters really changes the dynamics of the game.

A few of Dead by Daylight's best perks are locked behind certain characters, and that is why it's still essential to be able to access them. In fact, many of those that utilize new mechanics are only available if certain Survivors and Killers are purchased. Some Dead by Daylight perk types such as Hex, Boon, Scourge Hook, and Teamwork can only be unlocked by buying them, either from the Shrine of Secrets or by getting the character associated with it. However, the game is making changes regarding the availability of some characters to give players more options.

After the reported return of the Lights Out modifier, Dead by Daylight is also rumored to be bringing back another gameplay modifier.

According to a tweet by Dead by Daylight, eight original characters will have reduced prices in the store....
