No Man's Sky has a decent number of exocrafts you can use to make traversing the planets you discover a little easier. Some of them are more popular than others, as the Exo Skiff recently added in the game's Aquarius update was labeled as the "most useless tech" in the game, but one thing that we can all agree on is that the Nomad is pretty dang cool.
Not only is the Nomad super quick, making it feel like you're racing across the surface of a planet, but it's also the only exocraft that can quickly glide over the surface of the water. That makes it a pretty handy piece of tech for getting around ocean planets a bit easier, but its utility was increased tenfold earlier this week after many players found out it can drive underwater too.
First shared on the No Man's Sky subreddit by _Emmyemi, they explain and showcase the Nomad's ability to dive underwater if you strike a large body of water at the right angle after getting some air.
