Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth beta has officially kicked off after several months in alpha testing. According to the team, tons more invites will be coming to players over the coming days and weeks.
Anyone lucky enough to get an invite will be able to either start a new character from scratch or copy over characters from live servers. The level cap will be raised to 120 and players will be able to test most of the content coming in the expansion. Check out the beta patch notes here.
Battle for Azeroth is set for launch on August 14th, though the "pre-event" will begin in July.
