Yet More Cities: Skylines 2 Delays Announced by Paradox | TechRaptor

Paradox and developer Colossal Order have announced more Cities: Skylines 2 delays, and this time, it's a major upcoming expansion, along with two Creator Packs, that you won't be able to play for a little longer.

Per a new Steam post, two upcoming Creator Packs for Cities: Skylines 2, namely Modern Architecture and Urban Promenades, are being pushed back to Q4 this year, while the major Bridges & Ports expansion will now launch in the second quarter of 2025.

The delays are being put into effect in order for Paradox and Colossal Order to ensure they don't "split [their] focus" and to make sure that the upcoming Asset Editor, which is "one of the most crucial remaining features" for modding, doesn't lose momentum.

The two studios also say the delays will help them "ensure the community is satisfied with the state of the game", which is an ongoing concern for a game that launched with a number of issues, some of which it's still arguably struggling to fix.
