Black Myth: Wukong has been out for a little while, as players begin to tackle their New Game Plus runs in an attempt to get more enjoyment out of the game. Questions have naturally turned to whether developer Game Science has any sequel or DLC plans, and Daniel Wu - CEO of the game's publisher Hero Games - confirmed with Bloomberg earlier this month that an expansion is in the works.
We still don't know exactly when Game Science is planning to release this DLC though, but thanks to China-based journalist and industry consultant Daniel Camilo, we might have a fairly precise release window. According to Camilo in a recent post on his personal Twitter account, he's heard from "very reliable first-hand sources" that Game Science is planning to release the expansion in Early 2025.
Camilo claims that Game Science will want the expansion to drop at some point around the next Chinese New Year, which takes place on January 29 next year. It hasn't been claimed that this date is specifically when it will drop, just that this is the area Game Science is aiming for, and Camilo has explained that it could drop "very soon after."...
